Kidiminz Launches ‘Crypto for Conservation’ Initiative to Fund Reforestation in Costa Rica
Kidiminz partners with GreenLeaf Foundation to plant 100,000 trees, funded by a portion of trading fees.
This week, the rapidly growing crypto exchange Kidiminz announced a new community-driven charity initiative called “Crypto for Conservation,” designed to channel a portion of platform trading fees directly into environmental restoration projects. The program kicks off with a partnership with the GreenLeaf Foundation, a nonprofit focused on reforestation in tropical regions.
How It Works
Under the initiative, Kidiminz will allocate 0.05% of every trade executed on its spot market to a dedicated conservation fund. The first project aims to plant 100,000 native trees in Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula, a biodiversity hotspot. Users can track the progress in real time via a public dashboard on the exchange.
- 0.05% of spot trading fees automatically diverted to the fund.
- Transparent on-chain reporting of all donations.
- Partnership with GreenLeaf Foundation, verified by third-party audits.
“At Kidiminz, we believe crypto can be a force for good. This initiative lets our community contribute to real-world impact with every trade they make,” said Maria Torres, CEO of Kidiminz.
The exchange plans to expand the program to include other environmental and social causes later this year, with users able to vote on future recipients. Early response from the trading community has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the move as a concrete step toward aligning crypto profits with planetary health.
